To obtain good quality castings it is essential to use the right rubber.

To create high-quality castings, the use of the right kind of rubber is essential.
The exact mixture to be used is determined by the characteristics of the model to be produced.
For example, the presence of undercut parts requires soft, flexible rubber, while moulds large-scale objects will also need to have good heat resistance.
As the market's quality standards have risen, it has been necessary to create new types of rubber for special applications, in addition to the pre-existing ones.
Cabe offers a wide range of silicone compounds to choose from. Our clients are guaranteed to find the product best suited to their needs, certain of using only choice materials.
Choosing the right silicone rubber
In these tables the characteristic of our mould such as hardness and compatible casting materials are grouped by the vulcanization temperature.
